Colleen M. Frei grew up in Coeur d'Alene, Idaho. After attending the University of Idaho for undergrad (B.S. Natural Resources Ecology & Conservation 2002) and law school (J.D. Law 2005), Colleen made a home in Wenatchee. An associate at Jeffers, Danielson, Sonn & Aylward, P.S. since 2005, Colleen joined as a partner of the firm in 2010. Colleen was recognized as a Rising Star attorney in 2010, selected into the 2010 WSBA Leadership Institute, and recently honored as Wenatchee’s Top 30 Under 35 for 2012.
She is the author of "Natural Resources Management and Species Protection in Indian County: Alternatives to Imposing Federal and State Enforcement Upon Tribal Governments and Native Americans," published in Volume 41 of the Idaho Law Review.
When Colleen isn’t practicing law, she enjoys outdoor sports— skiing, hiking, rafting and snow-shoeing. Her loves include her family, traveling, reading and gardening. Colleen is committed to serving her community, emphasizing the importance of social awareness, leadership, education, and engaging others to carry out their passion.
