2017 Innovator Awards - Request for Nominations

 

GWATA will host the Annual Innovator Awards Luncheon on Thursday, March 30th at the Wenatchee Convention Center. Doors will open at 11:30am with the program from 12:00 – 1:30pm. This premier regional event will attract over 350+ community leaders and is presented by Jeffers, Danielson, Sonn & Aylward and Peoples Bank.

During the Innovator Awards Luncheon, GWATA will present several awards showcasing entrepreneurship, innovation, and education. GWATA is excited to re-band our two of our education categories to reflect our alignment with STEM Education.

GWATA is seeking nominations for the following five awards:

  • Entrepreneur of the Year
  • Tech Savvy Business of the Year
  • STEM Educator of the Year (previously: Innovative Use of Technology in the Classroom)
  • Future Technology Leader (K-12 Student)
  • Problem Solving Innovator (Post-Secondary Student) (previously: Future Technology Leader)

All businesses or individuals nominated will be considered by a panel of independent judges. Finalists will be showcased and recognized at the luncheon. Winners will be announced at the luncheon and will each receive a $250 cash award. Nominations are open now until March 1, 2017.
