Water and Irrigation
At JDSA, our water and irrigation group focuses primarily on water rights and water resources. In particular, our attorneys are experienced in handling a wide array of issues concerning Washington State water rights and Washington State water-rights transactions, including the purchase, sale and leasing of water rights, and the conversion of rights for new uses. We have represented numerous clients in water-rights issues. We can assist clients with their water-rights application process, and with any appeals tied to unfavorable decisions by the State of Washington. We also handle litigationinvolving water rights and water resources throughout Washington State (specifically, North Central Washington), including title resolution lawsuits, the general adjudication of water rights between parties, and claims for tortious interference with water rights.
Our lawyers have extensive experience in handling Federal reclamation issues, including contractual relations with the United States Bureau of Reclamation and other Federal agencies.
