Cannabis Harvest Notification Policy in Oregon

September 1, 2018 – Oregon became the first in the United States to implement a new policy requiring growers who farm recreational cannabis outdoors to notify state officials before cannabis can be harvested.  This new requirement is the latest effort by Oregon state officials to ensure legally-grown cannabis, in Oregon, is not transported out of state or diverted to the black market.
