Volunteer Attorney of the Month
Chelan-Douglas County VAS has awarded JDSA partner, Colleen Frei, the August 2017 Volunteer Attorney of the Month recognition for her pro bono work in helping low-income clients navigate challenging legal problems. Her thoughtful and thorough approach is praised by all clients she assisted.
Colleen joined JDSA in 2005 as an associate and became a partner of the firm in 2010. She has volunteered with Chelan-Douglas County VAS over the years, and believes in serving the community. Colleen is committed to the importance of social awareness, leadership, education, and engaging others to carry out their passion. When Colleen isn’t working on behalf of her clients, she enjoys spending time with her family, traveling, and outdoor sports.
The mission of Chelan Douglas County Volunteer Attorney Services (VAS) is to bridge the justice gap in our community by facilitating high quality, free civil legal services to low-income persons of Chelan and Douglas counties. VAS accomplishes this mission by enlisting the help of lawyers throughout Chelan and Douglas Counties who are willing to volunteer their time on a pro bono basis. Volunteer attorneys assist clients who have been screened and meet CLEAR/VAS eligibility standards.
