Earlier this year, the USCIS released a revised version of Form I-9, Employment Eligibility Verification. While employers were allowed to use the existing Form I-9 for an interim period, beginning September 18, 2017, employers must:
- Use the revised Form I-9 with a revision date of 7/17/17 N
- Continue following existing storage and retention rules for any previously completed Form I-9
