This year’s Washington Farm Labor Association (WAFLA) Annual Labor Conference was recently hosted by Wenatchee, and JDSA Law was there supporting this great event.
The mission of WAFLA is to facilitate a legal and stable workforce for seasonal employers in the Pacific Northwest, and it has many programs in place to assist employers with their workforce needs.
This year, JDSA attorneys provided knowledge on industry topics to over 200 employers in attendance. Partner, Peter Spadoni, was a featured speaker discussing “Assault on Ag Wages – Are You Ready?”, and attorneys Rita Lovett and Annie Robertson facilitated breakout sessions on “Understanding the Gamut of Laws”.
